Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Family Based Case Manager for our Child and Family Services team in Lansdale, PA, covering Montgomery and Bucks Counties. Earn $25.22/hour while helping families care for mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children at home.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, visiting homes and schools, and communicating with families and providers. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required to meet caseload needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related discipline, or a bachelor's with 12 credits in counseling/psychology.
• Minimum of one year experience working with children or adolescents.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment services to families including skills training and education to enable families to care for their mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children at home.
• Maintain regular communication with families, schools, physicians, and other service providers involved with the children and family.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of children and families on caseload.
• Travel to client's homes, other agencies, and community resources for arranging and providing services.
