Southmountain Children and Family Services in Morehead City, NC seeks a Family Advocate to support children and families referred to the Carteret County Children’s Advocacy Center. The role focuses on case management, education for victims of crime, and coordinating services with partner agencies involved in trauma treatment.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week), typically Monday–Friday, with after-hours emergencies and periodic on-call. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Human Services.
• Strong working knowledge of community resources and public relations skills are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide case management, support, orientation and education to child victims and their families.
• Coordinate services with partnering agencies involved in investigation and treatment of abuse/trauma.
• Work with multi-disciplinary partners and report to Program Director; 40 hours/week with after-hours flexibility and on-call.
