Job summary

LOFT is looking for a Sales Lead in Newark, DE to guide personalized customer experiences and support associates. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to become an expert on store operations and step in as manager when needed.

The role emphasizes coaching, brand representation, and maintaining the highest standards of service, with the flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of retail sales experience (preferred).
• Management experience (preferred).
• Technology proficient and able to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Enjoys communicating and coaching others.
• Flexible availability – evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Takes initiative and makes thoughtful decisions.
• Ability to organize, delegate, and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leaders with onboarding and developing an effective, highly engaged team.
• Support an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and engaged.
• Uphold the highest visual and operational standards while focusing on the customer.

• Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching so each associate can excel in customer interactions.
• Build productive relationships by sharing ideas and supporting the team.
• Use technology to stay informed on company priorities and promotions and provide customers with a seamless omnichannel experience.
