Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate College or University with a sophomore status or junior status.
• Must be a construction management, engineering or related major.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Ability to work as a team member and to manage competing priorities in fast paced environment.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing Agents and Assistant Purchasing Agents with prequalification of Subcontractors through use of TradeTapp prequalification website.
• Assist Purchasing Agents and Assistant Purchasing Agents with compiling Subcontracts.
• Assist Purchasing Agents and Assistant Purchasing Agents with creating Bidders lists for projects and following up to ensure proper coverage in all trades.
• Assist PA's & APA's in soliciting trade bids and leveling them.
• Arranging and coordinating meetings between Subcontractors and Purchasing/Operations team

Role Description

Hunter Roberts has internship opportunities available within the NY Operations unit for individuals with a track record of academic success and a deep interest in the industry. Hunter Roberts has several Intern opportunities available in the Purchasing Department. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm. Dates: September 7th - December 18th
