Qualifications

• No prior professional experience required; exposure to machining or tech coursework is helpful.
• Willingness to learn CNC and waterjet equipment and to follow supervised procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete required safety, PPE, lockout/tagout awareness, and machine-specific training before performing work.
• Observe and assist qualified machinists with CNC and waterjet workflows, including setup support and material handling.
• Support deburring, inspection, organization, and documentation under supervision.
• Assist with cleaning, preventive maintenance checks, and department housekeeping.
• Learn and follow approved procedures, safety requirements, quality controls, and limits.
