Job summary

BlueWave is seeking a Fall Co-op to join our Engineering team in Boston, MA. In this role, you'll assist in solar and energy storage design layouts and energy models, gaining practical experience through design to construction.

This placement targets students pursuing Civil or Electrical Engineering degrees, with opportunities to learn CAD, review geotechnical reports, and collaborate with engineers on project deliverables in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CAD is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of design layouts and energy models.
• Support the creation of construction details.
• Review construction product submittals under the direction of subject matter experts.
• Review surveys and geotechnical reports under the direction of subject matter experts.
• Take on additional tasks as designated by the engineering team to help advance projects through design and construction.
