Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Project Engineer to support field construction across solar, battery storage, and high-voltage infrastructure sites. This entry-level role works closely with the Construction Manager, Superintendents, and Project Engineers, and requires relocation to project sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering; related fields considered.
• Knowledge of project management phases and safety/regulations.
• Strong ability to read IFC drawings and specifications; proficient with MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects of solar projects for an assigned scope; from notice to proceed through final acceptance.
• Actively partner with project team to prioritize safety, quality, stewardship, leadership visibility and communication.
• Resolve issues through face-to-face and personal communication.
• Coordinate activities for overall project execution under Superintendent oversight.
• Support project administration to ensure construction aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor progress on the project.
• Support RFI and Submittal process for assigned scope of work.
• Contract administration, schedule management, preparation of spreadsheets & reports, investigation of non-conformance, and risk/quality control.
