Job summary

You will take depositions, appear before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and handle cases from start to finish, including negotiation and drafting pleadings and reports.

Qualifications

• 3L law students or recent graduates may apply for Fall 2027 start.
• Interest in workers’ compensation defense and California practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client and court interactions.

Responsibilities

• Take depositions and appear at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
• Handle cases at various levels of complexity and communicate with clients.
• Develop strategies for efficient case resolution and draft pleadings/reports.
• Negotiate and settle cases-in-chief and liens; manage all aspects of litigation.
