Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Fall 2027 Quality Engineer Co-op in Essex, VT. You will work onsite for 40 hours/week July–December 2027, gaining hands-on exposure to the manufacturing environment and quality systems.

You will contribute to safety, quality, and cost targets while developing project work from start to finish. Responsibilities include implementing lean initiatives, supporting TPM, and preparing reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time engineering or manufacturing-related program.
• Strong organizational and multi-project management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge in executing operational plans and projects, including DMS for day-to-day operations.
• Assist with TPM implementation and Lean activities, Kaizen participation, and maintenance workstreams.
• Support daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, production, and cost targets.
• Prepare standard reports and communicate results to all levels, including senior management.
• Contribute to problem solving, cost reduction, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze downtime data and maintain action plans using lean methods.
• Collect and calculate savings data on improvement projects.
• Recommend methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Job Overview

Fall 2027 Co-op - Quality Engineer

As a Fall 2027 Quality Engineer Co-op at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you will be a part of the beverage revolution. You will be working in a challenging, highly technical manufacturing environment that produces all of KDP's hot beverages in the industry. You will have responsibility to provide the site with improvements and opportunities to grow professionally. You will work across multiple departments and build a strong network. Shift & Schedule

The KDP 2026 Fall program will run from July 12th - December 10th, 2027.

Location & Working Hours

Essex, VT. Full-time; 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00am until 5:00pm Onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge in executing operational plans and projects, including DMS (Daily Management Systems) for day-to-day operations, new equipment startups, and innovative product qualifications
• Assist with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation and Lean activities, including participation in Continuous Improvement or Kaizen events and developing, implementing and improving autonomous and preventive maintenance workstreams
• Support daily manufacturing operations to deliver targeted safety, quality, production, and cost results
• Prepare standard reports/documentation to communicate results to all levels including senior management.
• Undertake and successfully complete simple or basic project development tasks to include any of the following: writing and/or verifying specifications, maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, equipment, raw materials and product, and validating equipment and processes.
• Be a contributor on problem solving, cost reduction, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze downtime data and maintain action plans using lean methodology.
• Collect and calculate savings data on improvement projects.
• Recommend methods for improving efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.

Total Rewards

• $31 hourly pay
• Paid bi-weekly
• $5,000 sign-on bonus pay, paid within first 30 days of employment

Requirements

• Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Engineering or another Manufacturing-related field
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities
• Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and adapt to changes
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI and Trending Data is preferred
• Experience with Solidworks and 3D printing is a plus
