Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Fall 2027 Quality Engineer Co-op to support day‑to‑day manufacturing on safety, quality and cost targets. You will work cross‑functionally on TPM, Lean activities, and continuous improvement projects in a fast‑paced environment.

The role aligns to the Coffee Operating Unit. Eligibility requires full‑time student status in an engineering or manufacturing field, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills; Power BI and SolidWorks are a plus.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full‑time engineering or manufacturing‑related program.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multi‑project management skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Execute operational plans and projects including DMS initiatives and equipment startups.
• Assist TP M and Lean activities, participate in Kaizen events and maintenance workstreams.
• Prepare reports to communicate results up to senior management.

Fall 2027 Co-op - Quality Engineer

Job Overview

As a Fall 2027 Quality Engineer Co-op at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you will be a part of the beverage revolution. You will be working in a challenging, highly technical manufacturing environment that produces all of KDP's hot beverages in the industry. You will have responsibility to provide the site with improvements and opportunities to grow professionally. You will work across multiple departments and build a strong network. This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit.

Shift/Schedule

• The KDP 2026 Fall program will run from July 12th – December 10th, 2027


• Location: Essex, VT


• Full-time; 40 hours per week


• Monday-Friday


• 8:00am until 5:00pm


• Onsite

As a Fall 2027 Quality Engineer Co-op you will

• Gain knowledge in executing operational plans and projects, including DMS (Daily Management Systems) for day-to-day operations, new equipment startups, and innovative product qualifications


• Assist with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation and Lean activities, including participation in Continuous Improvement or Kaizen events and developing, implementing and improving autonomous and preventive maintenance workstreams


• Support daily manufacturing operations to deliver targeted safety, quality, production, and cost results


• Prepare standard reports/documentation to communicate results to all levels including senior management.


• Undertake and successfully complete simple or basic project development tasks to include any of the following: writing and/or verifying specifications, maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, equipment, raw materials and product, and validating equipment and processes.


• Be a contributor on problem solving, cost reduction, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Analyze downtime data and maintain action plans using lean methodology.


• Collect and calculate savings data on improvement projects.


• Recommend methods for improving efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.

Total Rewards

• $31 hourly pay


• Paid bi-weekly


• $5,000 sign-on bonus pay, paid within first 30 days of employment

Requirements

• Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Engineering or another Manufacturing-related field


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines


• Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities


• Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and adapt to changes


• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint


• Experience with Power BI and Trending Data is preferred


• Experience with Solidworks and 3D printing is a plus
