Incident IQ is seeking an enthusiastic Software Engineer Intern to join a team building features for our cloud-based SaaS application. You will work embedded with a feature team, collaborating with about 6 engineers, a designer, and a product owner to deliver real user value.

This internship emphasizes learning, mentorship, and hands-on experience with modern web development. Ideal candidates are pursuing CS or SWE, eager to learn, and capable of clear communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Foundational programming principles and a strong desire to learn.
• Passion for technology and building software.
• Clear communication and collaboration with attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver user-facing features and contribute to web applications.
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to translate ideas into accessible UIs.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Receive 1:1 mentoring from Tech Leads and Engineering Managers.
• Gain hands-on experience with AI tooling and CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and learn observability basics.
