Job summary

Incident IQ, Atlanta-based, is seeking an enthusiastic Software Engineer Intern to join a feature team building new capabilities for our cloud-based SaaS platform. You will work with about 6 engineers, a designer, and a Product Owner to deliver real-world features.

You'll gain hands-on experience with our stack (C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Mongo, SQL) and learn CI/CD with GitHub Actions while contributing to production-ready code and automated tests.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field.
• Foundational programming knowledge and a strong desire to learn.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) is a plus.
• Clear communication, collaborative mindset, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver user-facing features in our web applications used by millions of students and teachers.
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to translate ideas into accessible UI.
• Gain hands-on with our tech stack (C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Mongo, SQL).
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold quality standards.
• Receive 1:1 mentoring from Tech Leads and Engineering Managers and work with our team.
