EffiGov is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to work with the founders and engineering team in San Francisco, building production software used by local governments nationwide. You’ll ship features, solve real customer problems, and own projects through production deployment.

The role emphasizes fast learning, strong ownership, and hands-on experience across Python/FastAPI or TypeScript/Next.js stacks in an in-person Fall 2026 internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, math, statistics, physics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrated technical ability
• Strong programming fundamentals and the ability to independently build software
• Experience building full-stack applications or backend systems
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, React/Next.js, APIs, cloud infrastructure, or Docker
