Job summary

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art facility in the Atlanta area seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

The RN must be licensed in Georgia in good standing and hold BLS; preferred candidates include a BSN and additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP or other certifications). Visual acuity may be required for certain units.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manage patient care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with hospital philosophy and policies.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure effective communication, coordination, and patient empowerment.

REQUIRED
