Job summary

AMDA College of the Performing Arts is seeking motivated, creative students to join the Communications & Engagement team for Fall 2026. The Student Worker will support outreach, act as an AMDA ambassador, and engage prospective students through ZeeMee and other social channels.

Responsibilities include maintaining a ZeeMee influencer profile, responding to chats, creating engaging content (two posts per week), and collaborating with the Communications & Engagement team while balancing academics.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled AMDA student for Fall 2026
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong written communication skills
• Professional and responsive in digital spaces
• Creative, reliable, and able to manage deadlines
• Desire to connect with and support prospective students

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active and professional ZeeMee profile
• Monitor ZeeMee boards and chats to assist prospective students
• Respond to 'Ask a Counselor', 'General', and 'Ask a Current Student' chats
• Collaborate with Communications & Engagement team on in-platform engagement activities
• Share AMDA experiences through digital content (Day-in-the-life, rehearsals, etc.)
• Post a minimum of two original pieces of content per week on ZeeMee
• Represent AMDA in a welcoming, professional manner
• Complete other duties as assigned

AMDA College of the Performing Arts is seeking motivated, creative, and professional students to join the Communications & Engagement team for the Fall 2026 semester.

Student Workers play an important role in supporting AMDA’s outreach efforts while serving as authentic ambassadors of the AMDA experience.

Position Overview

The Communications & Engagement position offers hands‑on professional experience in digital engagement, community building, and content creation, while contributing meaningfully to how prospective students connect with our campuses. We are looking for students who are dependable, proactive, and excited to represent AMDA both inside and outside the classroom.

The Communications & Engagement Student Worker supports AMDA’s prospective student engagement efforts through the ZeeMee platform. This role reports to the Social Media & Content Manager and requires strong written communication skills, professionalism in digital environments, creativity, and the ability to balance academic responsibilities with part‑time employment. Student Workers in this role help foster meaningful online connections, respond to prospective student inquiries, and create engaging content that reflects the authentic AMDA student experience. The content created may also be used on AMDA’s other social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement

• Maintain an active and professional ZeeMee College Influencer profile
• Monitor ZeeMee message boards and chats to assist prospective students with AMDA‑related questions
• Respond in a timely manner to “Ask a Counselor,” “General,” and “Ask a Current Student” chats

• Share the AMDA experience through creative digital content, including (but not limited to):

• Post a minimum of two (2) original pieces of content per week on the ZeeMee platform
• Represent AMDA in a welcoming, professional, and authentic manner

Employment Details

• Must be enrolled for the Fall 2026 semester (employment in this department is open to 2nd‑8th semester students).
• Student employees are paid minimum wage in accordance with applicable state and local law
• Work schedules are arranged around academic commitments
• Student Worker positions are hired on a semester‑to‑semester basis and continued employment is not guaranteed beyond the current term
