Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients according to physician orders and established guidelines. You will support patient care for an assigned group while upholding our care philosophy and hospital policies.

The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, coordination, and empowerment within a high-quality healthcare team, with shift work from 7pm to 7am, weekend requirements, and full-time status at our Georgia

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred; ACLS, PALS, NRP, or other clinical specialty certifications may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manage patient care for an assigned group of patients in alignment with Northside Hospital policies.
• Demonstrate collaboration, communication, coordination, and empowerment within the nursing team.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• BSN degree
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
