Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Launch Engineer for Ground Support Equipment on the Falcon Integration team in Vandenberg. You will design, build, and activate fluid and mechanical systems to support Falcon 9 processing, spacecraft integration, and refurbishing umbilicals, with hands-on field involvement.

You will use CAD/FEA tools, perform analyses, lead design reviews, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure 99%+ uptime and safe, reliable launch operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of hands-on hardware experience in fabrication, assembly or testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and activate equipment to support launch site vehicle processing and launch.
• Lead design reviews and activation testing.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians for critical operations on ground support equipment.
