Aerotek is seeking an A&P Mechanic for hangar maintenance and inspections of Falcon and corporate jets in Tampa, FL. The role requires strong technical skills, independence, and adherence to industry standards. Onsite work with potential after-hours availability.

Ideal candidates hold an FAA A&P license, 2+ years of jet maintenance experience, and familiarity with CMP/CAMP tracking systems and FAR 135 regulations. Direct Hire or Contract to Hire options available.

Job Title: A&P Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to join our team, focusing on hangar maintenance and inspections of both Falcon aircraft and smaller corporate jets, such as Pilatus and Cessna Citations. This role demands an individual with strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently while ensuring all tasks comply with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and inspections on a range of corporate/business jets, including Falcon, Cessna Citation, and Pilatus models.
• Manage administrative tasks such as maintenance tracking and coordination with external maintenance providers.
• Ensure all work complies with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate effectively with external providers and other team members.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work after-hours and weekends as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid FAA A&P License
• 2+ years of Experience with aircraft maintenance on Cessna Citation, Dassault Falcon, Pilatus or similar Corporate Jet platforms.
• Proficiency in aircraft maintenance tracking systems such as CMP and CAMP
• Knowledge of FAR 135 regulations

These are Direct Hire or Contract to Hire (candidate choice) roles, paying $38.00 - $65.00 an hour.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $65.00/hr.
