Job summary

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a high school diploma; additional training in child development desirable.
• Experience with youth in an organized setting is desirable.
• Ability to work in a classroom and follow district policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of instructional materials and teaching aids.
• Assist in presentations, classroom activities, and projects; help with setup and cleanup.
• Observe and manage student behavior; supervise students on campus and field trips.
• Record attendance and grades; maintain student files and records.
• Set up work areas and display materials; operate audiovisual equipment as needed.
