Job summary

City of New York is seeking a Community Coordinator to supervise Fair Fares enrollment operations and staff across multiple NYC locations. You will ensure standard procedures, scale staffing with demand, and report performance to Site Directors.

You will train personnel, safeguard confidential data, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver program messaging and referrals while maintaining accurate records and schedules.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; progression may be through experience.
• Alternative: high school diploma with substantial related experience.
• Experience in community work or program intake is valued.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign, and distribute daily work to Enrollment Staff.
• Coordinate interagency efforts to deliver Fair Fares program services.
• Provide reinforcement training and monitor staff performance.
• Present process improvement recommendations to Site Directors.
• Organize ITS monitoring reports and maintain schedules and plans.
• Ensure enrollment workflows are updated with correct information.
• Safeguard consumer data and verify discounted metro cards.
• Confirm consumers for discounted metro-cards during enrollment.
