Job summary

Wistron in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Supervisor for Failure Analysis Engineering. You will oversee cross‑functional failure analysis spanning electrical, mechanical, thermal domains and drive rapid root-cause actions for high‑volume production.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, engineering excellence, and collaboration with manufacturing, quality, supplier, and customer support teams to improve product reliability and ensure timely corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 4 years related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in failure analysis, reliability engineering, hardware quality, product engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience leading or supervising engineers, technicians, or technical teams.
• Knowledge of SMT manufacturing, solder joint analysis, and IPC standards; experience with HALT, HASS, thermal cycling, vibration testing; data analysis tools such as Python, JMP, Minitab, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of 5–15 engineers and technicians. Lead cross-functional quality and production teams.
• Oversee FA operations covering electrical, mechanical, and thermal failure analysis; assign requests and prepare final FA reports.
• Lead RCA investigations using 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, and PDCA; validate actions with KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce turnaround time and improve analysis accuracy.
• Perform other duties to support department or plant operations.
