Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Technician, Material Verification and Control to join our Internal First Article Inspection (FAI) team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role focuses on creating FAIR, reviewing products and processes, and maintaining quality data for internal and external customers.

You will use various software to maintain records, collaborate with inspectors to assure quality, and support special FAI projects as needed. Onsite work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and QMS documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
• Maintain quality data records and prepare reports for customers.
• Use software to manage and update documents and records.
• Work with inspectors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Support CORE initiatives and participate in special FAI projects.
