Job summary

Scuttlebutt Services, LLC in Plano, TX is seeking a skilled Fadal Milling Machine Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot Fadal CNC milling machines (EMC and VMC models 2000–2006). Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial CNC machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience diagnosing machine faults using alarm codes, error messages, and system diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and servo-related machine failures.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on Fadal EMC and VMC CNC milling machines.
• Replace and install machine components including servo motors, servo amplifiers, pneumatic valves and components, power supplies, sensors, switches, and relays.
• Analyze machine alarms, fault codes, and error messages to identify root causes of equipment issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Test machine functionality after repairs to ensure proper operation and accuracy.
• Document repairs, service activities, and parts usage.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
