Job summary

VF Corporation in Visalia, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and service a distribution center's equipment. You will diagnose issues from schematics, operate milling/lathe/CNC and 3D printing to fabricate parts, and work with electrical systems up to 480V/3-phase, PLCs, digital controllers and PC-based monitoring.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with electro-mechanical or machining training and 3–7 years of related maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and electro-mechanical or machining trades certifications.
• 3–7 years of related maintenance experience in distribution or an associates degree.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with automated equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests on equipment with diagnostic/root-cause analysis.
• Interpret schematics and manuals for maintenance tasks.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Use milling, turning (Mill/Lathe/CNC) and 3D printing to manufacture parts.
• Work with 480V/3-phase electrical systems.
• Service PLCs, digital controllers and PC-based monitoring systems.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, meters and oscilloscopes.
• Maintain records with MS Office and related software.
