Job summary

The Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, invites applications for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join the faculty as Assistant or Associate Professor.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive open and endovascular care, treat peripheral artery disease, aneurysms, venous disease, supervise residents, and participate in quality improvement initiatives and academic activities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Fellowship or integrated residency in vascular surgery completed.
• Board certified or eligible in vascular surgery.
• Experience in teaching and academic or clinical research.
• Eligible for state medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide state-of-the-art open and endovascular care for peripheral artery disease, aneurysms, and venous disease.
• Deliver clinical care via face-to-face and virtual modalities.
• Supervise surgical residents and participate in procedural components.
• Engage in quality improvement programs and professional evaluation.
