Job summary

The Nashville VAMC, part of the Veterans Health Administration, seeks a Board-certified Vascular Surgeon to deliver comprehensive care to Veterans with vascular disease. The role involves performing complex endovascular and open procedures, supervising trainees, and collaborating with Vanderbilt University Medical Center for academic and clinical opportunities.

Applicants must hold an MD/DO, possess an unrestricted license in the United States, and be eligible for faculty appointments.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Vascular Surgery is required.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license.
• Completion of vascular surgery residency or equivalent training.
• Experience with endovascular and open procedures across vascular pathologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Veterans with vascular disease.
• Perform endovascular and open vascular procedures.
• Supervise vascular fellows and residents as needed.
• Participate in clinical trials of vascular devices.
