Faculty Professor Assistant - Full-Time
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a full-time physician hired at the academic rank of Assistant Professor, appointment stream. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified OB/GYN to join a well-established OB/GYN Department. The department hosts an academic obstetrics and gynecology residency program with 40 OB/GYN residents, as well as subspecialty fellowships in maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, medical genetics, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive surgery, infectious diseases, and family planning.
The Magee-Women’s Research Institute (MWRI) is an independent research institute and one of the largest in the nation focusing on reproductive biology, women's, and infants' health. Since 1992, MWRI has been a leader in NIH and other funding sources. Opportunities are available to collaborate on research projects, with time allocated for individual research pursuits.
Magee-Women’s Hospital of UPMC is the regional referral center for obstetric and gynecologic patients, performing approximately 11,000 deliveries annually, with active inpatient and outpatient programs. UPMC is a nationally ranked medical center serving as a regional referral hub for multiple specialties.
