The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a full-time physician at the academic rank of Assistant Professor, appointment stream. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified OB/GYN to join a well-established OB/GYN Department. The department hosts an obstetrics and gynecology residency program with 40 residents and subspecialty fellowships in fields like maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, among others.

Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI), an independent research institute since 1992, focuses on reproductive biology and women's and infant's health. MWRI offers opportunities for collaborative research and individual projects. Magee-Women’s Hospital of UPMC is a regional referral center performing approximately 11,000 deliveries annually, with a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient program. UPMC is a nationally ranked medical center serving as a regional referral for multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
• At least two years of teaching, mentoring, and research experience.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in outpatient and hospital settings.
