The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine's Center for Vaccine Research (CVR) is seeking applicants for tenure-stream faculty positions at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. The CVR is a major hub for infection biology research, spanning from basic molecular studies to human cohort analyses, and is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure including a fully upgraded Regional Biocontainment Laboratory (RBL) capable of working with select agents and housing diverse animal models.

Applicants should hold a PhD, MD, or equivalent, with significant experience in Microbiology and/or Immunology. Assistant Professor candidates should demonstrate a strong publication record and 1-5 years of experience; Associate Professor candidates should have an established record of independent publications, extramural funding, and 6-10 years of experience.
