The Department of Dermatology seeks academic-minded dermatologists and dermatopathologists to join our full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor. Board-certified and board-eligible physicians with interests in general and complex dermatology, oncodermatology, dermatologic surgery, pediatric dermatology, and/or cosmetic dermatology are welcome to apply. Qualified candidates should possess an MD degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Dermatology.
Our department serves a diverse, medically complex population within the greater Pittsburgh area, drawing patients from throughout Pennsylvania and the tri-state area. The expansive University of Pittsburgh/UPMC campus includes 40 hospitals, 800 outpatient clinical locations, and an international healthcare presence. The Department of Dermatology offers services in general dermatology, phototherapy, laser, Mohs surgery, and aesthetic procedures, along with inpatient consultations. Our Dermatopathology unit is onsite with four dermatopathologists and two fellows. We also have a teledermatology program providing care statewide and opportunities for research collaboration.
