Job summary

UNLV invites applications for the Professional Development Manager, Faculty Affairs, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. This role supports empowerment of faculty by coordinating and leading professional development and continuing education initiatives.

Responsibilities include designing, coordinating, and delivering PD programs for faculty, staff, and administrators across leadership, teaching, and organizational development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; three years of related experience; two years in program/project management; one year of management experience.
• Equivalencies accepted: four additional years of relevant experience OR associate’s + two years; master’s degree equivalents include six more years, or bachelor’s + two years, or associate + four years.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in education, instructional design, organizational behavior, public health, or related field; experience in professional development, training, adult learning, organizational development; experience in higher education or academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Create, design, coordinate, and execute professional development programs for faculty, staff, and administrators.
• Deliver training using hybrid platforms; create evaluation tools and collect results.
• Provide leadership with metrics on program quality and outcomes; support CME-related programming in collaboration with CME Director and Manager; manage PD budget.
