University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for Senior Associate Dean/Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs and Associate/Professor (non-tenure track). The role reports to the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Education of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine (KSOM) and serves on the leadership team of the Office of Academic Affairs and Education.

The title will be determined by qualifications and experience, with identical responsibilities at either rank.

Qualifikationen

• MD from an accredited college or university recognized by US Dept. of Education/CHEA.
• Seven to nine years of progressively responsible leadership in undergraduate medical education at an LCME-accredited medical school.
• Experience in admissions, financial aid, student affairs, career advising, and/or accreditation strongly required.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for the full continuum of the medical student experience.
• Oversee AMCAS-based application and admissions cycle and Admissions Committee work.
• Direct supervision of the Assistant Deans for Admissions/Recruitment/Student Financial Services and for Student Affairs and Career Services.
• Ensure LCME compliance and contribute to CQI processes.
