Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Faculty Affairs Coordinator in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division (VIDD). The role supports the Senior Program Manager by advancing faculty lifecycle processes, including appointments, promotions and reviews for academic faculty and scientific staff.

Responsibilities include managing workstreams, interpreting policies, coordinating external faculty searches, organizing seminars, and maintaining VIDD communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned Faculty Affairs workstreams including appointments, promotions, reviews, renewals, leaves, and departures.
• Interpret established policies and consult with institutional offices to ensure compliance; assist with memos communicating policy changes to senior leadership.
• Lead complex logistics for external faculty recruitments; coordinate search committee schedules and candidate screenings.
• Prepare interview materials, coordinate logistics for campus visits and seminars, and track feedback for timely follow‑up.
• Lead operational coordination for the weekly VIDD Seminar Series with internal and external speakers, coordinating AV, catering, and budget tracking.
