Job summary

Dimmitt Automotive Group is actively seeking a Certified and Factory Trained McLaren Service Technician to perform vehicle maintenance and repair in line with dealership and factory quality standards.

You will join a world-class team, handling diagnostics, routine service, and repairs while maintaining documentation and safety standards. A sign-on bonus up to $7,500 is offered depending on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years automotive technician experience in a dealership environment REQUIRED.
• EV certified preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; tech schools/training.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent work history and dependability.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs.
• Repairs vehicles as assigned.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs.
• Ensures that the required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions.
• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
• Attends meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
