Job summary
United Launch Alliance (ULA) in Decatur, Alabama, is seeking a Factory System Engineering Integrator to join our multi-disciplinary Systems Engineering Team. You will drive rigorous systems engineering for the Vulcan Launch Vehicle, supporting embedded Decatur factory scope and coordinating with Denver teams.
Minimum 6 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field are required. You will develop requirements, perform verification, manage risk, and lead cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field from an accredited institution.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Experience with requirements development, integration and verification.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams on technical projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering for Decatur factory scope within the Vulcan program.
- Coordinate integration of subsystems to function as an overall system.
- Develop and verify requirements; support risk, trade studies and gate reviews.
- Lead cross-functional teams on complex integration issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and interface with customers.
