Job summary

United Launch Alliance, LLC. seeks a Factory Systems Engineering Integrator to drive rigorous systems engineering for Vulcan launch vehicle projects in Decatur and beyond.

The role covers concept through disposal, coordinating with Denver teams and mentoring junior engineers. A Bachelor’s in a STEM field and 6+ years of related experience are required, along with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or relevant technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience developing, integrating, and verifying requirements.
• Experience integrating complex topics with cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience of leadership and teamwork on technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Embedded Decatur factory scope systems engineering support within the larger team.
• Perform integration ensuring subsystems function together as an integrated system.
• Support requirements development, verification, risk analysis, and gate reviews.
• Support all phases of total system product: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, disposal.
• Develop project schedules and execute them to meet milestones.
• Lead cross-functional project teams on complex integration issues.
