Job summary

United Launch Alliance in Decatur, AL seeks a Factory Systems Engineering Integrator to join a multi-disciplinary team supporting Vulcan launch vehicle integration.

You will own systems engineering activities across tooling, facilities, subsystems, and interfaces, coordinating with the Denver team, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring requirements development, verification, and gate reviews are completed on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field from accredited college/university.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience developing, integrating, and verifying requirements.
• Experience integrating complex topics with cross-functional teams.
• Proven initiative, teamwork, and leadership on technical projects.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Effective written and presentation communicator.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-priority management.
• Experience with Teamcenter, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drive rigorous systems engineering for Vulcan Launch Vehicle integration.
• Provide embedded factory scope systems engineering with cross-function teams.
• Develop, verify, and manage requirements, and perform trade studies.
• Support concept through disposal phases of the system
• Lead cross-functional project teams on complex integration issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and interface with external customers.
• Coordinate with Vulcan Development and Denver teams to onboard new capabilities.
