Job summary

TechDigital Group in Santa Clara is seeking an on-site IT Operations Specialist to manage and support our factory IT systems, networks, and servers. You will coordinate third-party IT vendors, handle escalations, and ensure security, patching, and compliance across Windows and Linux environments.

This role collaborates with global IT teams and internal stakeholders to keep MES, ERP, and production tools running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience managing networks and IT infrastructure in manufacturing environments.
• Administration of Windows and Linux servers, with patching and hardening.
• Security and compliance practices, vulnerability management and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate third-party IT support personnel on-site, ensuring service quality and IT policy compliance.
• Serve as primary on-site IT contact for factory users and stakeholders, coordinating with remote/global IT teams.
• Handle tier-3 escalations with third-party IT regarding network, servers, client systems and production tools.
• Support day-to-day system operations, including user provisioning, hardware/software deployment, patch management, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with global teams to maintain factory systems, MES, ERP, and other critical applications.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing) and escalate as needed.
• Maintain Windows and Linux/Unix servers, ensuring stability, performance, and security hardening.
• Engage in routine tasks such as OS patching, endpoint protection, system monitoring, and inventory control.
• Ensure cybersecurity standards compliance and participate in vulnerability remediation and endpoint management initiatives.
• Assist with IT asset management, documentation, and audit readiness for local factory systems.
