Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Factory Director Senior Leader for our new Virginia manufacturing plant in South Boston.

The role includes relocation assistance and oversight of safety, production, engineering, project management and scheduling for a large greenfield project valued at about $500MM. Responsibilities cover ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost control while implementing ITM-driven continuous improvement and Lean practices.

Qualificações

• Engineering/technical degree required; MBA preferred.
• 16+ years of experience with at least 7 years in leadership; transformer experience preferred.
• Strategic development experience.
• Operations leadership in a multi-Factory setup and lean environment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all manufacturing operations, including safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using ITM system to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure a safe, compliant workplace and monitor progress with regular reporting on safety and performance.
• Develop plans to reduce non-value-added costs, improve yields, and deliver products on schedule.
