Job summary

Republic Business Credit, a subsidiary of Renasant Bank, seeks a credit risk professional to oversee recourse factoring loan portfolios and ensure compliance with Credit Standards. You will monitor collateral, financials, and related documentation, coordinating with the Portfolio Manager and external parties as required.

The role demands strong communication, organization, and the ability to travel, with a focus on timely risk issue resolution and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of financial, credit or loan support experience.
• 3 to 5 year Factoring experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle clients professionally.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Google Sheets, Adobe, Zoom, and Teams.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to travel, including overnight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of the assigned group of recourse factoring loans in line with Credit Standards.
• Identify risk issues through monitoring and analysis and escalate as required.
• Address risk issues per authorities in Credit Standards and inform Portfolio Manager.
• Ensure operating and funding conditions are complied with for new and existing clients.
• Liaise with Portfolio Manager for ongoing compliance matters and with third parties as needed.
• Support prudent client accommodations and credit amendments decisions.
• Review verification levels and guide verification activity to meet standards.
• Coach and support appraisals and field examinations scheduling and reviews.
• Conduct thorough client reviews on time and propose actions.
• Travel to RBC office locations and clients as needed.
• Present loan status at monthly meetings to management and propose strategy.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
• Work in the office a minimum of three days per week, Tue-Thu.
