Job summary

McKesson's temperature controlled Distribution Center in Orlando, FL is hiring a Facilities Representative. This role handles building maintenance, repairs, and overseeing service on conveyor systems and distribution equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of related experience, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of tools used in maintenance. Shift is Sunday-Thursday 10PM-6:30AM with OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate power equipment and maintain certifications.

Facilities Representative (junior to intermediate level)

Location: Orlando, FL, USA - 3056 Tradeport Drive

Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10PM-6:30AM

Note: shift subject to change. OT mandatory if required.

Competitive base pay of along with a $1.50/hr shift differential

Along with benefits, the Facilities Representatives are eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and can earn up to an additional 5% of their salary, which is paid out biweekly.

McKesson's temperature controlled Distribution Center in Orlando, FL is currently hiring a Facilities Representative. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare.

The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on conveyance systems.

This position offers a broad range of generalist tasks from building maintenance, taking care of repairs of internal/external areas, to overseeing and assisting with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Typically requires 1+ years of related experience

What You Will Need:

• Facility, maintenance or service technician experience
• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment
• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
• Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments
• Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc)
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA
• Work order experience preferred
• Experience operating various Power Equipment would be considered a strong asset. Location is willing to train those that are willing to learn, but, must be able to maintain certifications
• Openness to assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage on the floor to assisting to repair DC equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & forklift use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
• May work at heights and in cold areas at times
