Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Facilities Supervisor (M1) to lead maintenance operations in an automated refill center. You will supervise a team, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure safety, reliability, and uptime of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Reporting to site leadership, you will partner with vendors, manage spare parts, and drive short-term site performance while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily facilities and maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
• Provide work direction, assign priorities, resolve routine issues, and ensure completion of maintenance activities
• Support and maintain conveyors, refrigeration systems, pneumatic systems, and facility equipment
• Oversee site preventive maintenance programs using a CMMS
• Maintain accountability for spare parts inventory and usage
• Review reports, work orders, and equipment data to identify trends and maintenance priorities
• Coordinate vendor support for proprietary and commercial systems
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, networks, and peripheral devices related to facility systems
• Maintain site safety and security programs, including LOTO, hazardous waste compliance, and inspections
• Create and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and repair documentation
• Hire, train, coach, and develop maintenance team members
• Promote a safety-first culture and compliance with company policies

The Facilities Supervisor (M1) is responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance and facilities activities within an Automated Refill Center. This role oversees day‑to‑day maintenance operations supporting mechanical, electrical, automation, and select IT‑related systems to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational uptime.

Reporting to site leadership, the Facilities Supervisor leads a team of maintenance professionals, partners with vendors, and manages preventive maintenance programs while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards. The role is focused on operational execution, team leadership, and short‑term site performance.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Supervise daily facilities and maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
• Provide work direction, assign priorities, resolve routine issues, and ensure completion of maintenance activities
• Support and maintain conveyors, refrigeration systems, pneumatic systems, and facility equipment
• Oversee site preventive maintenance programs using a computerized PM management system (CMMS)
• Maintain accountability for spare parts inventory and usage
• Review reports, work orders, and equipment data to identify trends and maintenance priorities
• Coordinate vendor support for proprietary and commercial systems
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, networks, and peripheral devices related to facility systems
• Maintain site safety and security programs, including LOTO, hazardous waste compliance, and inspections

Basic Requirements

• 3+ years of facilities or maintenance experience, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility
• Experience supporting mechanical, electrical, or facilities systems in a production or automated environment

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Experience supervising maintenance or facilities teams
• Background in automated, manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment environments
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g., conveyors, PLCs, pneumatics)
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS tools
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, networks, and industrial systems
• Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems
• Experience working with vendors and external service providers

Work Environment, Schedule & Physical Requirements

• On‑site role in a production and automation‑supported facility
• Scheduled Sunday – Thursday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Ability to lift and carry 20–100 lbs as required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform hands‑on troubleshooting
• Flexibility to adjust hours as needed based on operational demands
• Minimal travel required
