McKesson’s Memphis distribution center is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Service Technician to maintain and repair site equipment and systems. You will troubleshoot a broad range of facility systems, communicate with management and frontline staff, and support safe, efficient operations.

Facilities Maintenance Service Technician (Distribution Center)

Location – Memphis, TN, USA – 4836 Southridge Blvd

Shift Details – Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Note: Emergencies in the building may cause mandatory overtime. Shift subject to change based on needs of the business.

Job Summary

McKesson's temperature‑controlled automated Distribution Center is currently hiring a senior level Facility/Maintenance/Service Technician. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare.

The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front‑line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on new conveyance systems.

What You Will Need

• Facility, maintenance or service technician experience
• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment
• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
• Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments
• Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and OHSHA

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
• May work at heights at times
