Maintenance Facilities Service Representative
Location: Olive Branch, MS, USA - 8313 Polk Lane
Shift: Friday, Saturday, Monday – 4:00 AM – 2:45 PM; Sunday – 6:00 AM - 4:45 PM
OR
Friday - Monday 6:00 PM - 4:45 AM
Note: shift subject to change. OT mandatory if required.

Competitive base pay along with a $1.50/hr shift differential will also apply. Facilities Representatives are eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and can earn up to an additional 5% of their salary. This position is also benefit eligible.

Job Summary

McKesson’s temperature controlled Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS is currently hiring a Sr Facilities Representative. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on conveyance systems.

This position offers a broad range of generalist tasks from building maintenance, taking care of repairs of internal/external areas, to overseeing and assisting with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience

What You Will Need

• Facility, maintenance or service technician experience
• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of equipment used in a distribution center environment
• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
• Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments
• Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc.)
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA
• Work order experience preferred
• Experience operating various Power Equipment is a strong asset. Location is willing to train those who are willing to learn, but must be able to maintain certifications
• Openness to assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage on the floor or assisting to repair DC equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & forklift use, climbing up to four (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
• May work at heights and in cold areas at times
