Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months related operational experience preferred.
• WFS or Carrier Instructor Certification.
• Current qualification and experience on training subject or learning plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for new hires and tenured employees through various learning methods.
• Provide company, regulatory, carrier or practical training for individual or group settings to new hire as well as tenured employees.
• Create milestones to be achieved through training methods and create training plans.
• Conduct skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations and changes in training policies and procedures.
• Coordinate trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.
• Observe employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
• Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and Safety Manager.
• Maintains training rosters and records with trainees and complies with appropriate training recordkeeping requirements.
