WFS Express, Inc. is seeking a Facility Trainer in New York to provide training for new hires and existing staff using diverse learning methods.

You will develop training milestones and plans, assess skill gaps, and coordinate certifications to ensure consistent, effective instruction across teams. Candidates should have an HS Diploma or GED, and preferably 6 months of related operations experience; instructor certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months related operational experience preferred.
• WFS or Carrier Instructor Certification.
• Current qualification and experience on training subject or learning plan.

• Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations and changes in training policies and procedures.
• Coordinates trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.
• Observes employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and Safety Manager.
• Maintains training rosters and records with trainees and complies with appropriate training recordkeeping requirements.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing training for new hires and tenured employees through various learning methods.
