Bourns, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of tasks across both indoor and outdoor settings, working with hand and power tools and maintaining essential building systems.
The role emphasizes safety, clear communication with coworkers, and adherence to manufacturing support requirements. Must lift up to 75 lbs and operate in all weather conditions.

Perform a variety of facility maintenance duties as assigned; work may be performed both inside and outside in all weather conditions. Employee will be required to use standard hand and power tools as necessary to complete assigned tasks. Must be able to communicate well with co-workers, maintain a positive attitude, have above average attendance. Must display a commitment to, and be responsive to, the needs of manufacturing departments. Work schedules may vary according to manufacturing support requirements.
High School or equivalent diploma
Experience as a facility tech grade 38 for a minimum of two years, or work in one or more building construction or building maintenance trades for one year or attend trade school for building maintenance and repair.
Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
Fluent speaker of the English language and the ability to communicate with others in a clear concise manner. May need to communicate with other areas of the manufacturing facility.
Requires good writing skills to record and document any changes or revisions.
All types of construction craft hand and power tools. Facility support equipment, air compressors, pumps, chillers, air handlers, fans and blowers, work on electrical panels (120 to 480 volt).
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must be able to work at varying heights on ladders and scaffolds.
Work may be performed both inside and outside in all areas of the facility and in all weather conditions.
$18.87 - $23.56 hourly
