Job summary

Chicago Athletic Clubs is seeking a Building Maintenance team member to keep our clubs safe, clean, and fully functional. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys problem solving, works independently, and takes pride in high-quality facilities.

Starting pay is $26-$36 per hour for a full-time schedule averaging 40 hours per week, with benefits, sick time, and PTO. Opportunities exist to earn CPR certification and Illinois Pool Operator credentials.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining club facilities.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Comfort with standing for long periods while performing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the club’s buildings, pools, HVAC systems, equipment, and surrounding property.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pool, HVAC, laundry, fitness, and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Respond to facility emergencies and complete repairs to keep the club running safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance or safety issues before they become larger problems.
• Complete maintenance requests, manage supplies, and coordinate with outside vendors when needed.
