Job summary

AIRE Ancient Baths Chicago is hiring a Maintenance/Pool Technician to maintain eight pools, monitor chemical levels, temperatures and cleanliness, and assist the Maintenance Manager in upkeep tasks. The role requires 1–3 years in facilities maintenance and basic knowledge of electricity, HVAC, water treatment, and boilers.

Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in maintenance department of a facility preferred.
• Knowledge of facility operation including basic maintenance, electricity, HVAC, water treatment, and boilers.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee detailed maintenance of the center's facilities and equipment; monitor pool systems, temperatures, chemical levels and cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing issues and support the Maintenance Manager in the Annual Maintenance Plan.
• Assist in stock control and reporting on the physical state of the facility.
