Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to oversee and assist with safe operation and daily maintenance of facility systems including ASRS, dock equipment, electrical, plumbing and fleet shop tasks. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and accurate CMMS logging.

Ideal candidates bring four years of industrial facility maintenance experience, refrigeration operator qualifications if available, and a readiness to work 1st or 2nd shifts with potential for

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Understand electrical safety standards and NFPA codes.
• Understand PLCs and PLC troubleshooting.
• Complete small welding projects as needed.
• Perform general building maintenance including carpentry, painting, plumbing and light electrical work.
• Maintain assets through preventive maintenance and recordkeeping in CMMS.
• Operate refrigeration duties including ePSM inspections and logs.
• Respond to emergencies to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
